In which we continue our contest for SOME interesting fact about the number 2012, describe Newton’s Law of Cooling, and ask another puzzle on the mixing liquids.
We HAVEN’T yet fully answered the coffee and cream question: a follow up post will be coming soon!

Sure, here’s a possible way you did’t seem to rule out. Since you imply the flasks can hold more than 10oz, Dump flask #1 into flask #2, mix, and pour half back :) But other than that cheat, I don’t think there is a way.
This reminds me of a similar question: You have 10oz flask of water, and a 10oz flask of wine. You use a 3oz scoop to move 3 oz of water to the wine flask, mix, and then move 3oz of that wine/water mixture to the water flask. Which flask contains more of its original contents?
