    Sure, here’s a possible way you did’t seem to rule out.   Since you imply the flasks can hold more than 10oz,  Dump flask #1 into flask #2, mix, and pour half back :)  But other than that cheat, I don’t think there is a way. 

    This reminds me of a similar question:  You have 10oz flask of water, and a 10oz flask of wine.  You use a 3oz scoop to move 3 oz of water to the wine flask, mix, and then move 3oz of that wine/water mixture to the water flask.  Which flask contains more of its original contents?
